Our Therapy Services
Engedi Therapy offers a multidisciplinary team under the one roof, giving clients access to a hub of therapists working together to create a coordinated approach to meeting NDIS goals and capacity building.

Our therapists provide various assessments such as reports for funding applications, ongoing therapy, assistive technology and specialised services. Our hub also has a team of experienced Allied Health Assistants to provide enhanced client outcomes.

The Engedi Therapy Hub is very excited to announce that our Speech Therapy team is now ready to receive new referrals!
The fabulous Speech Therapy team, Fiona and Abbi have been working really hard in the background to meet demand and all waitlisted service for speech therapy has now been met.
Please be patient as Fiona and Abbi commence work on new referrals based on capacity and service scope. Engedi acknowledges that speech therapy is a service with high demand in the Mackay community and as such all new referrals will be treated as priority and Fiona and Abbi will work through the waitlist by date order. This means no requests for urgent action can be considered as all referrals will be considered priority to ensure fairness and equity.
Fiona and Abbi are looking forward to supporting new clients and commit to providing a quality service that aims to support improved quality of life for people living with a disability.
This program is for parents and carers (relevant for those providing care for neurodivergent and/or neurotypical children). The program is delivered by Engedi’s Social Worker (licensed facilitator of COSP) and Psychologist.
COSP is an evidence-based psychotherapy program delivered over 8 weeks (one 2 hour session per week) designed to assist parents and caregivers to:
Understand their child’s emotional world by learning to read emotional needs
Support their child’s ability to successfully manage emotions
Enhance the development of their child's self esteem
Honor the innate wisdom and desire for their child to be secure
Cost: $600 per person inclusive of GST (NDIS participants may be able to claim Training for carers in matter related to caring for a person with disability 15_038_0117_1_3. Please check with your NDIS team.)
